• HB1468 Clears House Public Health Committee

I’ve been working with the American Hearth Association on legislation to require birthing facilities to perform pulse oximitry screenings to test for critical congenital heart disease before newborns are discharged from the hospital.  The bill passed in the House Public Health Committee this morning and now goes to the full House for a vote.  Thank you to the local AHA team for working with me on this bill.

Here is HB1468 in its entirety for your review.
